I find glass a fascinating medium to work with.
It comes in many different varieties, colours and textiles. For the
fusing process to be success all glass involved in the project must
be compatible or the piece will either crack or break completely.
Picture taking the glass to such a temperature that the individual
pieces slump into each other and become something quite
different.
Lately I have tried copper painting using a blow torch. It’s all
about heat control which brings out some amazing colours on the
copper. I’m still in the early stages of learning this technique but
hope eventually to incorporate  into my jewellery.  The fun is really
in the discovering.
